Your appointment starts with a consultation about your desired shade, hair history, and any scalp sensitivities, followed by full application, development time, and a rinse and finish.

• Permanent tint gives full grey coverage and longer-lasting colour, with a visible regrowth line over time
• Semi-permanent tint offers a softer result that fades more gradually and suits those wanting a lower-commitment change
• Mid length hair generally needs longer than short hair for full saturation, so allow extra time beyond the application itself for consultation, development, and finishing

Is a Full Head Tint Right for You?

A full head tint gives a solid, opaque colour rather than the multi-dimensional look of highlights or balayage.

• Best suited to clients wanting one even shade, richer depth of colour, or full coverage of white or grey hair
• If you're after lighter pieces or dimension, our stylists, including Lisa Reeve and Donna Brookes, can talk through highlight or balayage alternatives instead
• Porous or previously coloured hair can grab tint unevenly, so let your stylist know your colour history at consultation, and a patch test may be recommended if you have sensitive skin or a history of reactions

Maintenance and Aftercare

Keeping your colour looking fresh relies on a few simple habits at home.

• Avoid washing for 48 to 72 hours after your appointment to let the colour fully settle
• Use sulfate-free, colour-safe shampoo and conditioner, washing with cool to lukewarm water
• Apply heat protectant before styling and limit tool temperatures
• Protect hair from strong sun, chlorine, and salt water, which can speed up fading
• Book root touch-ups roughly every 4 to 6 weeks, or a full refresh every 6 to 8 weeks, to avoid obvious regrowth banding
